Which IGCSE, AS and A-Level Physics courses do you teach?
Dr Desouky teaches Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE Physics, plus Edexcel International AS and A-Level Physics, including A2. Edexcel M1 Mechanics is also available as a Mathematics unit. IGCSE options include Cambridge 0625/0972 and Edexcel linear 4PH1 or modular 4XPH1. A-Level teaching follows Edexcel International, rather than Cambridge A-Level.
A qualification code is especially useful when two courses have similar names. Cambridge IGCSE and Edexcel IGCSE differ in assessment, and Edexcel International A-Level is distinct from the UK domestic course. The board finder explains the codes without requiring you to know them in advance.

How do the online physics classes work?
Classes are live online group sessions where students ask questions and work through problems in real time. Course notes, homework and regular assessments help students practise between lessons. Groups are matched to the student's level and exam board, with schedules agreed directly.
Groups have around 20 students. Enrolled group students receive recordings to help catch up, and parents can contact Dr Desouky with questions. A useful routine is to revisit the difficult part of a recording, attempt the homework and identify the exact step that still needs explanation.
How can I choose the best IGCSE or A-Level Physics tutor for my child?
Check that the teacher covers your child's exam board and level, explains difficult ideas clearly, and has a process for homework, feedback and exam practice. Review student results and testimonials, then discuss your child's current grade, target and timetable directly with the tutor. What is the difference between AS, A2, A-Level and IAL Physics?
For Edexcel International Physics, AS is the first stage and A2 is the second stage of the full International A-Level, often shortened to IAL. Dr Desouky teaches both stages. If you are unsure which stage or exam board you need, send your course name or a recent exam paper on WhatsApp.
For Edexcel International Physics, IAS uses Units 1–3 and the full IAL includes Units 1–6. A2 refers to the second-stage units. The exact exam entry and cash-in arrangements should be confirmed with the school or exam centre.
Can you help with IGCSE and A-Level Physics past papers and revision?
Yes. Tutoring combines topic explanations with questions from the student's exam board, including calculations, written explanations, graphs and practical skills. Tell Dr Desouky your exam date and the topics you find difficult so you can discuss suitable preparation.
A completed paper is most useful when it changes the next practice task. Identify whether a lost mark came from the concept, equation choice, calculation, units or explanation. Work on that step and then test it in a different question.
How do I book physics lessons with Dr Desouky?
